Insadong, Seoul, is famous for many of Korean stuffs so it is one of the essential coarses for tourist.

Originally, it is said that this place used to be well-preserved to show old style of Korea such as stuffs, buildings, restaurants(most of the restaurants in Insadong still sell Korean food though) and so on, despite of rapid change and severe reconstruction of Seoul city. But as tourists have increased, the original landscape of Insadong dissappeared and the many of shops which persuade monetary benefit appeared.

The function of Insadong, however, which provides Korean atmosphere for people, still remains and it keeps its fame to many people, not only to foreigners. (And I guess it looks different to foreigners campared to other regions of Seoul, considering so many oversea visitors in Insadong.) Sometimes I visit here to feel its unique atmosphere as well. It makes me think what true Korean style is among this globalized world.

Here is the centeral part of Seoul, Korea which is called Gwanghwamoon. And also this is my favorite place in Seoul! :) Many of great places are connected each other around here. I feel dynamic whenever I visit this flashy space. Most of the major corporations and important institutions in Korea are concentrated on here.

There is small-sorta-museum in the basement of Gwanghwamoon square. It is not been a longtime for the square to be constructed. It was one of the projects taken over by Seoul City Mayor Se hoon, OH. Sometimes you can see the people who take photo shoots or make films here. Also, you can find simple information about King Sejong and Hanguel(Korean), which is masterpiece of King Sejong.
